Privacy Policy

Effective: 2 October 2026v1.0 · iOS app + website

Lastamp is a single-player mobile arcade game made by the Lastamp team (“we”, “us”). Here is what data the app and our partners handle, why, and what you can do about it. In short: there are no accounts and no servers of our own, and your progress stays on your phone. The free version shows ads and, like most games, uses anonymous analytics. Both come from the third-party services listed below.

At a glance

What is collected

  • Anonymous gameplay events (runs, waves, ads watched, purchase results) sent to Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Device and ad-interaction data used by Google AdMob to show ads. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow tracking
  • A coarse battery range (for example “40–59%”) may be included in anonymous gameplay analytics

What is not collected

  • No accounts, names, email addresses or phone numbers
  • No GPS location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone
  • No payment card details: Apple handles all payments
  • We never sell your data for money

Your choices

  • Allow or deny tracking in the iOS prompt, and change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
  • Accept or refuse personalised ads in the consent form (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
  • Turn off reminders in the game menu or in iOS Settings
  • Buy the full version to remove interstitial ads
  • Delete the app to erase everything stored on your device

Who we are

The Lastamp team is the developer of Lastamp and the “controller” of the personal data described here. You can reach us at lastamp.app@gmail.com.

This policy covers the Lastamp iOS app and this website. The website has no cookies, analytics or trackers. It saves your language choice in your browser’s local storage. For the current session it also keeps a technical mark so the language switches automatically only once; it disappears when you close the tab. Neither is sent anywhere.

What we collect and why

  • Game progress and settings: cores, upgrades, skins, records, sound, vibration and reminder settings, and whether you own the full version. This is stored only on your device (iOS app storage) and is never uploaded to us.
  • Local run log: after each run the app saves a short summary (wave, duration, battery at start) in its own folder on your device and keeps the latest 50. It helps us tune the game during testing and is never sent anywhere.
  • Usage analytics: in-game events (see “Analytics”) with device model, iOS and app version, language, approximate region and a random app-instance ID. We use this to see how the game is played, balance difficulty, fix problems and measure ads and sales.
  • Advertising data: when ads are requested, Google AdMob and the ad buyers it works with receive device information, IP address, IDFV, ad interactions and, only if you allow tracking, the IDFA. This is used to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and, with your permission, personalise them.
  • Purchase status: Apple tells the app whether you own the full version. We never see your payment details or Apple ID.
  • Notification permission: whether you allowed reminders. It is used on the device only.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, camera or microphone input, health data, or anything from other apps. There is no account or login.

Advertising and tracking

The free version shows optional rewarded videos (you choose to watch one to revive or double your cores) and occasional interstitial ads between runs. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob.

App Tracking Transparency

iOS asks whether Lastamp may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you tap Allow, the IDFA is made available to Google AdMob and its ad partners for personalised ads and measurement. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the IDFA is not available: you still see ads, but they are not personalised by cross-app tracking. The game works exactly the same either way.

Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

Before ads load, a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform, following the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) asks whether partners may store or read information on your device and personalise ads. Your answer is stored on the device and passed to ad partners and to Firebase (Google Consent Mode). Until you answer, Firebase treats every type of consent as denied.

SKAdNetwork

Apple’s attribution system lets an ad network learn that an install came from its ad without identifying you or your device.

How to opt out

  • Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking: switch Lastamp off, or turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”.
  • To change your consent-form answer, open Menu → Privacy choices in the game (shown where the form applies), or email us.
  • Limit Ad Tracking: when tracking is off, iOS hides the IDFA, and Google treats ad requests as non-personalised.
  • Buy the full version: interstitial ads stop for good. Reward videos stay available as an optional bonus, shown only when you tap the button. The ad SDK stays active so that this option can work.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase (the FirebaseAnalyticsCore package, which does not access the advertising identifier). We receive aggregated reports and cannot identify you from them.

Events the game sends: app open; run start (stake level and a coarse battery range); run end (wave reached, duration, cores, whether you died or quit, whether you own the full version); boss wins and defeats; revives; reward and interstitial ads shown or completed; full-version offers shown, tapped or dismissed; purchase success or failure; tutorial completed or skipped; skins and upgrades bought with in-game currency; reminder permission answers and reminders opened; review prompts; and ad impression revenue reported by Google AdMob (ad source, format and estimated value).

Firebase also records standard data on its own: first open, sessions, engagement time, app updates and in-app purchase events (product and price, never payment details). Google may use your IP address to estimate your region; Google states that IP addresses are not stored in Analytics.

No names, free text or contact details are ever sent. If you decline storage in the consent form, analytics runs in Google’s restricted, cookieless mode.

Third-party services

These partners process data for us, or as independent controllers, under their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob

Ads

Runs the ads. Receives device and OS details, IP address, IDFV, ad interactions, your consent choices and, only with your permission, the IDFA. Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Analytics

Anonymous gameplay statistics. Receives the events listed above, a random app-instance ID, device model, OS and app version, language, and a region derived from your IP address. Set up without the advertising identifier. Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.

Google User Messaging Platform

Consent

Shows the consent form in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (built into the app with the AdMob SDK) and stores your answer on your device in the IAB TCF format.

Apple

Platform

App Store payments (StoreKit), the tracking permission (ATT), notifications, and SKAdNetwork ad attribution, which does not reveal who you are.

Google AdMob serves ads from Google’s network and the ad buyers Google works with. If we add other ad networks through AdMob mediation, we will list them here.

Purchases

Lastamp offers one optional one-time in-app purchase, the Full version (com.lastamp.game.full). Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The app only receives a signed confirmation from Apple, checked on your device, that you own it. “Restore purchase” asks the App Store for that confirmation again; we never see your Apple ID. Analytics records whether a purchase succeeded or failed, without any payment details.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. There is no push server and no device token is sent to us or anyone else. iOS asks for permission first. You can turn reminders off in the game menu (Reminders) or in Settings → Notifications → Lastamp. Analytics records whether you allowed reminders and when you open one.

Battery and device data

The core mechanic of Lastamp reads your iPhone’s battery level and charging state through iOS. They are processed on your device in real time to set your HP, shield and rewards, and are stored in the local run log described above.

The exact battery level is never sent. A coarse battery range (one of five 20% bands, such as “40–59%”) may be included in the anonymous run-start analytics event so we can balance difficulty. The app does not use any other sensors.

Children

Lastamp is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age for digital consent in your country (up to 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. This follows the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR rules on children’s consent.

If you believe a child has used the app and data about them has reached us or our partners, email lastamp.app@gmail.com and we will help delete it.

Retention and deletion

  • On your device: progress, settings and the run log stay until you delete the app. Deleting Lastamp removes them (copies may remain in your iCloud or computer backups until those are replaced).
  • Analytics: event-level data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months. Aggregated reports that do not identify anyone may be kept longer.
  • Ad partners: Google keeps data according to their own policies (see the links above).
  • Requests: email lastamp.app@gmail.com to ask for access or deletion. We hold no name or account, so we will pass your request to our partners and may ask for the app’s identifier to find your data.

Our partners encrypt data in transit (HTTPS).

International transfers

Google processes data in the United States and other countries. Transfers from the EEA, UK and Switzerland rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), under which Google is certified, and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR Art. 6):

  • Consent (6(1)(a)): personalised ads, storing or reading information on your device, and analytics storage in the EEA/UK. You can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing that already took place.
  • Legitimate interests (6(1)(f)): showing non-personalised ads that fund the free game, preventing fraud, and aggregated statistics used to improve and balance the game.
  • Contract (6(1)(b)): delivering and restoring the full version you bought.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests), data portability, and withdrawing consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold directly identifying data, we may not be able to link a request to you (GDPR Art. 11), but we will always help and forward it to our partners.

California and other U.S. states

This notice covers the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other U.S. states.

  • Categories collected (last 12 months): identifiers (IDFA with your permission, IDFV, app-instance ID, IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (gameplay events and ad interactions); commercial information (whether you bought the full version); inferences that ad partners may draw for ad targeting. No sensitive personal information.
  • Sources and purposes: collected from the app, for the purposes described in this policy.
  • Selling and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. When you allow tracking, making identifiers and ad-interaction data available to ad partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may count as “sharing” (and, in some states, “targeted advertising” or a “sale”).
  • Opt out: tap “Ask App Not to Track” or turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also email lastamp.app@gmail.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.
  • Your rights: to know, access, delete and correct, to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. An authorised agent may make a request for you. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
  • Retention: see “Retention and deletion”.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the app or our partners change. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. We will point out significant changes in the app’s update notes or in the app itself.

This policy is also available in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, French and Japanese. If a translation differs from the English text, the English version applies.
